The impeller of the air ring pump is installed directly on the motor rotor, which is completely non-contact compressed. By installing the pump shaft outside the compression chamber, the maximum operational safety of the machine can be ensured even when working with maximum pressure difference.
The gas is sucked in from the suction port 1, but after it enters the side channel 2, the rotating impeller 3 gives the gas a speed in the direction of rotation, while the centrifugal force on the blade accelerates the gas outwards and increases the pressure.
As rotation progresses, the kinetic energy of the gas increases and further increases the gas pressure along the side channel. As the side channel at the outlet narrows, the gas is pressed out of the blades and discharged from the pump body through the exhaust silencer 4.
